    • Passed Intermediate (Class 10+2) or equivalent
    • 2-year D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) or equivalent NCTE-recognised qualification

  • School Assistant (SA) / TGT:
    • Bachelor's Degree with the relevant subject as main/optional

🏆 Selection Process

AP DSC 2026 selection process:

  1. Stage 1 – Written Examination: Objective MCQ-based test. For SGT, School Assistant (SA), and Language Pandit posts: 80 marks written test. For PGT and PET posts: 100 marks written test. The test covers General Knowledge/Current Affairs and Subject-specific content relevant to the post applied for.
  2. TET Weightage (for eligible posts): AP TET score carries 20% weightage for SGT and SA/LP posts. TET score is converted and added to the written test marks to arrive at the final merit score. PGT and PET posts: written test marks only (no TET weightage).
  3. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted from the merit list appear for document verification of all original certificates.
  4. Medical Examination: Final appointees undergo a medical fitness examination before joining.
