Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian university. No minimum percentage is mandated for the degree.

🏆 Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Examination (April 26, 2026, qualifying): Two papers — Paper I (General Studies) and Paper II (CSAT). Each carries 300 marks. New pattern: 3 marks per correct answer, minus 1 for wrong. Total 600 marks; used only for shortlisting, marks not counted in merit.
  2. Main Examination (September 7–23, 2026, merit-based): Six descriptive papers covering GS Paper I–IV and two language papers (General Hindi and Hindi Essay/Drafting). Total = 1,500 marks. Mains marks form the basis of final merit.
  3. Interview / Personality Test: 185 marks, conducted for Mains-qualified candidates. Assesses administrative aptitude and suitability for state service roles.
  4. Final Merit: Mains (1,500) + Interview (185) = 1,685 marks total. Post-allotment as per merit and post preferences.
