Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian university. Knowledge of Marathi is mandatory for all posts.

Final-year degree students are eligible to appear in the Preliminary Examination provisionally.

Physical Standards (for PSI posts only):

  • Male: Height — 165 cm (ST: 160 cm); Chest — 79–84 cm
  • Female: Height — 155 cm (ST: 150 cm); Chest not applicable
  • Vision: 6/6 without glasses (both eyes)

🏆 Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Examination (June 14, 2026, qualifying): 100 objective questions, 100 marks, 1 hour. Negative marking applies. Used for shortlisting only; marks not counted in merit.
  2. Main Examination (merit-based): Two objective papers of 100 marks each (200 marks total), 2 hours each. Paper I and Paper II cover GS, reasoning, and subject-specific content.
  3. Physical Test (PSI candidates only): Physical Efficiency Test (PET) including 100m sprint, 800m run, long jump, and push-ups/pull-ups depending on gender. Qualifying in nature.
  4. Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final stage for all shortlisted candidates.
