The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination (RAS/RTS) for Group A and Group B gazetted posts in the Rajasthan state government. The 2026 notification is expected to be released on rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in in mid-2026 as per the RPSC Exam Calendar 2026.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian university. No minimum percentage is specified.

Candidates must be domiciled in Rajasthan for age relaxation benefits applicable to SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories. Applications are accepted from all Indian nationals.

🏆 Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Examination (Screening, Objective): 150 questions, 200 marks, 3 hours. Covers General Knowledge of Rajasthan — history, geography, culture, economy, science, and current affairs. Used only for shortlisting; marks not counted in merit.
  2. Main Examination (Descriptive, Merit-based): Four papers of 200 marks each (total 800 marks), 3 hours each. Papers cover GS I–III and General Hindi/English.
  3. Interview / Personality Test: 100 marks. Conducted by an RPSC board at Ajmer. Assesses administrative aptitude and personality.
  4. Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final stage for all shortlisted candidates.
  5. Final Merit: Mains (800) + Interview (100) = 900 marks total.
