✅ Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a university established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature (UGC-recognised). No minimum percentage is mandated for the degree.

Final-year degree students may apply provisionally for the Preliminary Examination. Candidates must be domiciled in Gujarat for certain reserved-category age relaxations.

🏆 Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Examination (June 7, 2026, qualifying): Single objective paper — General Studies, 200 marks, 3 hours. Marks NOT counted in final merit; used only for shortlisting.
  2. Main Examination (Descriptive, October 5–10, 2026, merit-based): Seven papers including Gujarati (qualifying), English (qualifying), Essay, and General Studies I–IV. Total merit marks from written papers: 1,250.
  3. Personal Interview: 150 marks. Conducted by GPSC at Gandhinagar. Assesses analytical ability, communication, and suitability for administrative service.
  4. Final Merit: Mains merit papers (1,250) + Interview (150) = 1,400 marks total.

  5. Pay Rs. 100 application fee (General); SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen (Gujarat domicile) are fully exempted. Application window was April 2–16, 2026.
  6. Submit the application and download the admit card from the OJAS portal approximately 10–15 days before the Prelims on June 7, 2026.
