1. Download the official notification No. 01/2026/JRF from the DRDO website at drdo.gov.in and read all instructions carefully
2. Prepare your application on plain paper or as per the format provided in the notification, including all personal, educational, and research details
3. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents along with the application
4. Send the completed application by post to the address mentioned in the official notification, or attend the walk-in interview if specified, before May 30, 2026
5. Candidates attending walk-in interviews should bring original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification

There is no formal written examination for the JRF post at DRDO LRDE. The selection is typically conducted through a walk-in interview or a short screening test followed by an in-depth technical interview:

• Technical Interview: Senior DRDO scientists evaluate the candidate's understanding of core subjects, research methods, and problem-solving ability
